Tryptone Soya Agar, 90mm Plate is a ready-to-use prepared plate supplied by SGL for general-purpose cultivation, environmental monitoring and microbial recovery in routine microbiology QC. It is suitable for use in pharmaceutical microbiology; biotechnology; environmental monitoring; water testing; environmental testing.
Tryptone Soya Agar supports the growth of both aerobes and anaerobes, with anaerobes being grown either in deep cultures or by incubating under anaerobic conditions.
Tryptone Soya Agar is a medium also known as casein soya bean digest agar designed to recover a wide range of micro organisms as described in the European Pharmacopoeia (EP) 2.6.12, United States Pharmacopeia (USP) <61> and ISO 11133.
Additional specification testing may be performed as requested by the customer.
Manufactured in compliance with ISO 9001 (Ref. No. FM37824) and tested in accordance with ISO 11133 by a UKAS (ISO 17025) accredited laboratory (Ref. No. 4356).
